Red Dawn (1984)

Plot: It is the dawn of World War III. In mid-western America, a group of
teenagers band together to defend their town, and their country, from
invading Communist forces.
I first saw this movie about thirteen
years ago not having a clue what it was about. The opening scene with
the paratroopers landing in front of the school is still really cool in
my book. I won't tip toe around the obvious. A lot of people think
this movie is absolutely ridiculous. In some ways I don't blame them.
It is really hard to believe that anything like this could happen in the
U.S.
